  Get off at Chuncheon station and go to the bus stop next to the train station to catch a Hwacheon-bound bus that leaves the Chuncheon Express Bus Terminal every 30 minutes.
  Round-trip train tickets to Chuncheon can get sold out on the weekends, so make sure to make reservations

When coming from other parts of Korea...
  Get off at Weonju station and take an express bus to Chuncheon.
  Direct buses take 1 hour from Weonju Bus Terminal to Chuncheon and 1 hour 30 minutes for non-direct buses.
  Buses come every 30 minutes.

Seoul → Hwacheon
  1. Start from Seongsan-daegyo (Br.) → Naebu Expressway → Guri → Namyangju → Daeseong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon
  2. Start from Cheonho-daegyo (Br.) → Bukbu Expressway → Namyangju Police Station (Donong samgeori) → Daeseong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon
  3. Start from Misari → Paldang-daegyo (Br.) → Route 6 to Yangpyeong → After passing tunnel, go towards Cheongpyeong → Seoul Film Set → Saetteo samgeori → Daesong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon

Using Seoul-Chuncheon Expressway
  Seoul-Chuncheon Expressway → Chuncheon JC → Jungang Expressway(Chuncheon) → Chuncheon IC → Get off expressway and go straight (for about 5km) → Soyang 2-gyo (Br.) →Chuncheon Dam. → (Road No. 5 or 407) → Hwacheon

Using Jungang Expressway
  Jungang Expressway → Weonju → Chuncheon → Get off expressway and go straight (for about 5km) → Soyang 2-gyo (Br.) →Chuncheon Dam. → (Road No. 5 or 407) Hwacheon (The easiest way from the end of the expressway to downtown Chuncheon is to just go straight)
Using Yeongdong Expressway
  Yeongdong Expressway → Manjong Junction (Weonju) → Jungang Expressway towards Chuncheon

Using Jungbu Expressway
  Jungbu Expressway → Hobeob Junction → Yeongdong Expressway towards Gangneung → Manjong Junction (Weonju) → Jungang Expressway towards Chuncheon
  Jungbu Expressway → Hobeob Junction → Right after Gyeongan IC → Paldang Dam (Paldang Dam under construction) → Route 6 towards Yangpyeong → Once tunnel ends, get off towards Cheongpyeong → Seoul Film Set → Saetteo samgeori → Daeseong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon

Using Gyeongbu Expressway
  1.Gyeongbu Expressway → Shingal Junction → Yeongdong Expressway towards Gangneung → Manjong Junction (Weonju) → Jungang Expressway towards Chuncheon
  2.Gyeongbu Expressway → Pangyo Junction → Seoul Outer Circle Expressway towards Guri

When using Seoul Outer Circle Expressway
  1.Seongnam Toll Gate → Topyeong IC → Deokso → Namyangju Police Station (Donong samgeori) → Daesong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon
  2.Seongnam Toll Gate → Namyangju IC → Namyangju Police Station (Donong samgeori) → Daeseong-ri → Chuncheon → Hwacheon

  2.Chuncheon → Chuncheon Dam → Gotan → Hwacheon(Typical mountain course of Gangweon-do, this is the fastest way, but be careful when driving because the roads are dangerous)
